With highly qualified and experienced Medical & non-Medical staff, our services are constantly reviewed & extended and they include among others;
1. Surgical Services:
These encompass general Surgery and most of the major Surgical disciplines such Chest Surgery, Dental Surgery, Ophthalmology, Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT), Neuro-surgery, Orthopaedic surgery, Pediatric surgery, Plastic surgery, Urology, Breast and endocrine services.
All surgical procedures are undertaken by the most highly trained and experienced specialists.
2. Medical Services:
These include general Medical care in disciplines such as Cardiology (Heart Diseases), Chest, including Asthma and T.B, Endocrinology including Diabetes Mellitus, Gastro-intestinal diseases, Hypertension, Nephrology (Kidney diseases), Neurology, Psychiatry (Mental diseases), Skin and Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STDs).
3. Obstetrics and Gynaecology:
These include emergency Obstetrics care, Ante-natal care, delivery, Post-natal care and counseling, routine gynaecological services, family planning and fertility clinic.
4. Child Health:
All aspects of Child Health, including general care and immunization. Pediatricians run consultation clinics in the P.O.P.D. The facility for admitted children is on Ward 6A.
Special care facilities for Neo-natal cases are also available at the Hospital Special Care Unit.
5. Pharmaceutical Services:
A pharmacy is situated on the 2nd floor at P.O.P.D.
All drugs and medication prescribed by your Doctor will be dispensed from this Pharmacy and included on your account. Please notify the Doctors and ward Sisters of any medication you have been on before medication.
6. Physiotherapy Services:
The Hospital is equipped with a modern Physiotherapy Department situated near Casuality, on the 3rd floor, and the physiotherapists visit the wards daily to attend to patients.
7. Radiotherapy Services:
The hospital has some of the most modern and sophisticated equipment to manage patients who require Radiotherapy services.
8. Intensive Care Unit:
The scheme uses the highly modern facilities of the Mulago hospital Intensive Care Unit (ICU) ward 3D located on the 3rd floor. The Patients here are intensively monitored, treated and later returned to the Parent ward.
9. Diagostic Services:
They include Radiology comprising Ultra sound, CT Scan and X-ray.
10. Non-Medical Services:
- Catering Services:
-Including non-patient outside catering.
- Laundry Services:
-Including non-patient laundry services.
- Guesthouse:
-For accommodations and seminars/workshops.
- Mortuary Services:
-These include: Body embalming, Body cleaning, Body storage and Postmortem. All the services are carried out by highly qualified and experienced Medical and Non-Medical Staff.
