The
outpatient department is located on the fifth floor in the main New Mulago
building.
To access it enter the hospital
through the main entrance on the forth floor and use the first set of steps
upwards that are seen to your right.
Each day
different clinics are run by teams of sub-specialised doctors, led by
specialists and midwives.High risk
antenatal clinic runs on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Patients
are advised to arrive early to clinic to ensure that they are seen.
These
clinics are very busy; in 2008 nearly 24,000 antenatal mothers were seen.
