Gynaecological Emergency Ward

This is the acute gynaecological emergency ward which is located by 5A on the fifth floor in New Mulago.
The ward is run by Sister Emilee Nakirijja. The ward is staffed by doctors and nurses 24 hours/day to deal with emergencies during early pregnancy and acute gynaecological problems.
Services offer include post exposure prophylaxis for those accidentally exposed to the HIV virus, post abortal care, admission to the gynaecological wards 5A and 5C and preparation for those patients that need to go to theatre.
